The photo I posted yesterday is a lamp. It's cool because you light it up by touching the base and as you touch it, it gets brighter.
The lamp from yesterday's shot actually is used to illuminate this crystal sculpture in our living room. I took the shot with no other light source besides the lamp.

Wow!!! This statue is in your living room??? Maybe I should pay more attention in my house! Anyhow, this photo is incredible. It looks like a spirit traveling in thin air. Impressive!

Great work the colours and tones are so soft. THe statue is beautiful too. I agree with Lia I should take not of more things around my house. Lovely picture.

How big is the statue? It is hard to determine since it seems to be floating in the air :) Really nice picture, I like it.

@Gnarf: It's about 1 foot tall x 1.5 feet wide :) I had to fill the frame with just a portion of the sculpture to isolate the face of the woman.
I really love the orange gradient; it seems he is one with fire almost.

@Myrtle Beach: The photo of the torch was actually shot from the top. There is a black base which you touch then lights up :)
haha your house really is cool. now armed with your camera and eyes, i bet you discover a lot more about your house than before. keep it up! ^^
