About Ryan

October 10, 2006. That is the date I'm writing this piece of information about me.

Yup, that's me in the picture. I'm Filipino-Chinese and was born on April 25, 1986. I'm currently 20 years old and studying in De La Salle University, Manila. I belong to the College of Computer Studies (CCS), majoring in Information and Communication Technology Management (ICTM); it's basically an IT related course.

I was inspired to dive into the world of photography as a hobby during my hiking trip to Mt. Pulag here in the Philippines. The climb was from September 4-7, 2006. You can see pictures from that trip here. Anyway, I loved the way I was able to capture the beautiful scenes and views from the second highest peak in the country. It was quite an experience and the photos I took remind me of how hard it was to climb and how beautiful nature is.

My dad loves collecting cameras thus he was generous enough to get me started by buying me a Canon 350D during the last week of September 2006.

Since then I've read through alot of information, spent quite a sum of time and money and most importantly started taking more pictures.

I don't know where this new hobby of mine would lead to but I have one thing to say about it...
